ACCESS TO ALMA
Every parent or guardian may create their own account in the Alma parent portal. If you have already set up your Alma account, you can sign in here to access parent portal training: https://training.getalma.com
To create an account, you must first provide Inwood Academy with an email address. If you already shared a valid email address you would have received an email from Alma with information about how to set up your account in the parent portal. If you did not receive this email, please contact the middle school at 646-665-5570 or http://www.buy-trusted-tablets.com high school at 212-304-0103.
WHY USE ALMA
Alma is an easy-to-use, web-based system that will allow you to stay informed of what is happening with your child(ren)'s learning. We expect this parent portal will also make communication easier between you, our parents, and the staff and faculty of Inwood Academy.
The parent portal provides access to:
- School calendar
- Staff directory
- Class rosters
- Attendance history
Research shows that when parents are engaged with their child's learning, students become more active participants in their education, which helps to instill better study habits and address issues as they arise—all of which are key factors in a child's academic success.
