  The registration for the new school 2012-2013 year is upon us. Our next Open House will be held on February 9 at 10:00am. This is for incoming 5th and 6th grade students and their families only. We will also hold Open Houses on the following dates: Wednesday February 29 at 5:00pm, Tuesday March 13 at 10:00am, and Wednesday March 28 at 5:00pm.   Big Congrats to the Lego Robotics Team - the team ended up taking SECOND place at the Manhattan Competition on Saturday January 21, 2012. This is exciting as they went up against teams from several private and larger public schools. Please help the school with the goal of 300 box tops by February. Currently we are at 1000. This will help raise funds for trips and other resources for IAL.   There will be several workshops taking place at IALCS over the next couple of weeks.The themes for the workshop revolve around adolscent issues. These workshops will be held on Tuesdays from 6:15pm to 7:00pm on February 14, February 28, March 6, and March 20.

We're proud to announce the start of our enrollment period for the 2012 - 2013 school year. We're currently accepting applications for the 5th and 6th grade only. We'll be enrolling 110 5th grade students and a small number of 6th grade students. We reserve 50% of our seats for English Language Learners. The deadline for receiving applications is April 2nd 2012. All applicants will be subject to a lottery taking place on April 4th.
